Whale & Flower Route

HERMANUS - WHALE & FLOWER ROUTE
whale Humpback

Although most famous for its shore based whale watching (June – November), the breath taking scenery of this tour to Hermanus makes for a memorable year round experience. We travel along the scenic false nay coast through local villages until we reach the magical Harold Porter Botanical Gardens. The journey continues to Hermanus a picturesque fishing town on the shores of Walker bay. After lunch we continue our journey through a landscape of rugged mountains, pine forests and orchards of apple trees before descending along Sir Lowry’s Pass towards Cape Town.

  • The Harold Porter National Botanical Garden with its bird and plant life
  • Unsurpassed whale watching from Hermanus and its surrounds (seasonal)
